The close bond formed between mares and foals is a touching sight and an excellent source of inspiration.
Beau
This painting of Beau, one of my Clyde colts, was captured in the early morning when the light was streaming in the stall window. Clyde foals are all legs, and Beau was no exception.
Cookie's Foal
I did this painting as a donation to the Sunderland Agricultural Societies Horsemans’ Dance, a fundraiser for our local fair. Cookie was a Clyde mare, imported from Scotland.
First Light
May, my Clyde mare relaxing with the first Clyde colt born on my farm.
Brooke
Brooke, one of my Clyde fillies, caught in an early morning sunbeam. Brooke is a daughter of my mare Bonnie.
